Distance from Upazila Sadar to Lata Union Parishad is 40 km. Motorbikes are the main means of communication from the Upazila Sadar to the Union. Kapilmuni Union Parishad will have to come in front of the Upazila. At present the main means of internal communication of the Union are bicycles, motor bikes and engine vans.
